Daking Mic Pre 500

Daking Mic Pre 500 is a pre-amp for the 500 series.

Official description[]

Daking’s Mic Pre 500 is a redesigned version of a single channel from their popular Mic Pre IV in a module format for use in 500 Series racks. Like the Mic Pre IV, the Mic Pre 500 uses a Jensen input transformer, Class A, discrete transistor circuitry. The Mic Pre 500 uses a tri-color LED metering setup and accepts both line and hi-Z inputs via the 1/4″ jack, equipped with +48V phantom power. With a -20dB pad for added versatility, the Mic Pre 500 microphone preamplifier is ready for anything. The front panel controls include a variable high-pass filter (with a range of 10-200Hz @ 12db per octave) as well as continuously variable input gain. It also includes an eight-segment tri-color LED meter with simultaneous VU and Peak.

Features:

  • Jensen input transformer
  • Class A, discrete transistor circuitry
  • 70db of gain
  • 8 segment tri color meter with VU and peak indications
  • Switchable Polarity
  • 20db pad with constant reflected impedance
  • Switchable Phantom Power
  • Direct 1/4″ instrument input on the front panel.
